Introduction to the History Collections
The History Department holds and collects material evidence relating to the social, economic and political history of Ireland, with particular emphasis on Ulster from 1600 and Northern Ireland from 1921. Domestic and folk life items have in most cases been transferred to the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum.
